Welp, my local pawn shop honey hole has yielded yet another Finnish Mosin. An M91 with a Tikka barrel, 1942 date, built on an antique 1897 receiver. Has the usual sanitized mag floor plate and renumbered bolt. Bore is dark but strong, and the wood on this one is "honest". I have a couple Finns with what look like brand new stocks, but I like this one better, at least visually speaking. Oh and price???? $130 out the door. Love that place!
I didnt take many pics cause the lighting in here blows, and well, its dark out now.
A here it is right alongside the rest of my Finn family.
Left to right in the above - SA marked Westinghouse, SA 1916 Peter the Great, the above rifle, 1942 VKT, 1942 "B" barrel, and a pair of M28's. Still gotta find me an M39 and that elusive M27!

Edit -
I have great respect for those who adopt and care for these old rifles.
