Man that sucks. You had a really nice stock. If the receiver wasn't buggered up I would just say replace the stock and be gtg . The side of the rear site looks funky took, like it was brazzed on at some point

It looks to me like that bolt is a custom welded on replacement handle. Yes, bubba must have done that because there is no way its original military issue in that configuration.

Well, someone thought it was a good idea. Probably a 1960's DCM rifle, product "improved".

My guess is this was a standard rifle that was sporterized then someone tried to "restore" to original condition. Value is strictly as a shooter.
