Dumb question so be kind. I have a k98 and it shoots 6inchs to the right at 100yrds . do I drift the front post sight to the right or left

To the right.
ETA: When you think about it, if you drift it to the right, you have to pull the muzzle to the left to line up the sights.

front sight opposite the direction you want it to go, rear sight the direction you want to go
