I just saw one of these and now I want one BAD! But I have one question, how are the stocks welded? Is the end welded to the receiver, or is the pivoting point welded?  The reason I ask is because this would be a neat purchase to buy now and in the future make it into  an SBR through my local class 3 dealer who is also a gunsmith.

Anyone have one? How does it shoot for you as a pistol?

AFAIK it's not welded closed. It was put together with a hole too small for the push-in stock release to push in. Some parts are different and would need to be replaced. I'd want one SBR'd if the 922r parts were available.

I thought once you get a tax stamp on it 922r doesnt apply?

Domestic receiver, 922r doesn't apply.
Imported receiver and it does apply.
Opinions vary.

Too bad the ammo dried up just when these came out.

Still sitting on mine with no ammo!

From what I have heard there are a few parts missing to SBR it and make the stock work correctly. I may try it after i get some ammo to make sure it works!
