Found one & need your imput if you can, on a 1895 Chilean Mauser all originable in good condition, 7X57  MM & has a good bore. I would be using it as a shooter. Could you put a value on it & tell me what it would be worth? Thanks in advance.

The Ludwig Lowe rifles are prefered, as they were all built in 1895.{iirc}

Assessing the value of a firearm, sight unseen, is impossible to do in any credible manner. Your experience, or lack of, in describing a particular firearm as being in "good condition" means little. No pictures? Why don't you just take a chance and throw the dice?

They are a cool rifle if in good condition. If the bolt matches thats a huge plus because all the ones i've seen including my own have miss-matched bolts. (bolt parts match but do not match receiver)

Just got one about a month or two ago, shoots like a dream but ammo was very expensive.  Payed about 225 for the gun, and stupidly payed 35 bucks for 20 rounds.
