| Hello, I Thought I read somewhere that shipping an antique gun made before 1897 or 1893. I forget the exact year. Did not require you to ship it through a FFL or C&R dealer. Is this correct? Thanks, Tim. |

If it was made prior to 1898 it's considered an antique and does not need to be transferred through any FFL.
