I just picked this up recently. I have absolutely no experience with Carcanos.
Any info you can give me about it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Not very many markings on it.

Serial number I believe and on the top it says TERNI

Has the number 18 and what appears to be A1 above it.

The punch mark on the front sight blade tells you where it shoots in relation to the sights.

A bubba'd Model 1891 for the Torre Annuzaita Arsenal is my guess.  Can't tell from the photo if it has a long rifle barrel (originals were 29 inches) or if it's a carbine barrel or a shortened rifle barrel.  The rear sites are for the rifle.  There is usually a date stamped on these things.  Stock has been cut down and refinished.

Carcano's require a special enbloc clip which are getting hard to find.

Looks like you have a sporterized long rifle.
Carcano rifles can shoot better than they look.

If you need enbloc  clips try here;

I may be wrong, but IIRC, theres some significance to the crossed rifles stamp, something about being a  more accurate rifle, I could be wrong though.
