This old shotgun is a bolt action from Germany. Has a single round magazine and hand milled bolt. Looks like a mauser action, with "Nitro" on the receiver. "Germany" is written across the top of the barrel. Very solid stock, heavy gun overall. Several numerical markings. Comments welcomed.

a friend of mine had 2 for sale, both were around 600-650. another friend of mine bought the nicer one from him.
IIRC, the stock was from a WW1 mauser. my friend who bought it is NOT the type to not shoot something at least a couple times. we ran a few bird shot rounds through it, and the recoil bolt shifted in the stock. that can be fixed, but keep in mind not to shoot the thing *too much* |
