I need a little help from you C&R aficionados out their. I have a Remington 03A3 listed in the EE and I havent had that many bites. I priced it according to what I was seeing at the last local fun show, and I am below all that I saw. I am asking $750 shipped and insured. Am I too high? Thanks!

A friend of mine just bought a nice Remington 03A3 from an individual that was in almost mint condition.  Barrel was marked 9-43 and it came with a long 1905 vintage bayonet.  Face to face transaction and he walked away with it for a total of $600.   The bayonet alone I have seen on GB for $150-175.

The last one I bought was $450 (Remington 1943) and it had a plastic handguard that I replaced. Other than that, it looked like new. I've been in the same shop where I bought that one and he has another for $550 (also a '43 Remington) that looks like it just rolled off the production line, yesterday. There are people claiming that you can't find them for anything less than $600, unless they are junk. However, I see them by the dozens at the gunshows that I've been to, all priced at $700 and up and not a single one of them is selling. I would love to think that mine was worth that, but it just isn't realistic, especially in this economy.

I would agree with everyone else is saying. Unless it is an exceptional piece the real value is around the $600 mark. If your not in a hurry then $700 seems to be what most guys are asking for them at dealers tables. Funny thing is I keep seeing the same rifles at those dealers tables year after year.

If that is a original military 1907 sling I would sell it seperate. It may be worth around $75.00 or more depending on condition

I cant find any markings on the sling. How can I tell if its original?

I wouldn't give over $550 shipped for one in that condition.

I believe your new price is reasonable.
