I am slowly trying to develope a good accurate load for my 1911 and K-31s. Well, I am not actually trying very hard, but I'm trying.
In the mean time I had almost ran out of GP11. I noticed over the weekend that a local store had some in stock so I went today to buy a few boxes. While I was there I decided to heck with a few boxes and bought a case.
Once I finally go through the 480 rounds is there a use for the case itself? I was thinking I could store ammo in it but I have no idea how sturdy the case is. Does anyone do this?

The cases are sturdy, but not airtight.  I've got a few sitting around.  Think i'm going to throw them away.  I prefer to keep my gp11 in sealed cans.

I use it to store small quanities of ammo for my oddball calibers.  I don't store my ammo in a damp basement or out in the garage.  It holds up well enough.  You could use it for little reloading tools and dies and stuff too.
