[ARCHIVED THREAD] - No4 Mk2 trigger guard?

I bought a couple stripped No4 Mk2 Enfield actions and was wondering if I just file off the trigger boss from the MkI trigger guard can it be used on my Mk2?

Per Stratton probably not.

The #4 trigger guards have longer tangs, though the breech cover loop is centered like the swivel boss on the Mk2.
