I just bought an Enfield via my C&R. What steps do I need to take to make sure the transaction is legal, so I get no headaches from BATF!

Have it shipped to the address on your C&R license, then log it in your bound book...that is all.

If you are buying from a private party I believe a signed copy of you license must accompany the rifle during shipment. I may be wrong on this but it is how I have always done it.

Enter the transaction in your bound book. Keep any receipts you get with it. After that, enjoy shooting it.
