Quoted:
No.4 Mk.II UN-ISSUED around here (1 not fired one fired) for the unfired it is running $500. I think Dunhams (in your area?) has some in stock -not sure which model/s -used- for around $200-$250...however...most are crap. No Dunham's in Arizona that I know of. |

They are in great abundance on gunbroker.com, I just got a 1953 FAZ No4 Mk2 Irish Contract thursday of this week, that I had gotten from a seller on there last week. it even came with the matching number bayonet/ matching number scabbard that was usually mummy wrapped up with them. I got lucky on the price as well (340.00 + 30.00 shipping) for a 98% condition Enfield |

Yeah, it kinda was even considering there were two other bidders bidding on it( who must have wanted it for free) but the only other thing I can guess that kept the price down is that it was one of the last few they built with the darker wood, before they went with the blond look everyone thinks of when they hear No4 Mk2...and they didnt know what they were looking at. The matching bayo/scabbard told me it was never issued,(even before I looked up the serial) and came out of the wrap here in the states and was in all likelyhood going to be great.
The kind of buyer that wanted the mummy wrapped brand new old rifles were the type that would take care of them. I picked up a VG condition Webley IV .38/200cal Singapore Police Force marked revolver w/safety for 150.00 total this week as well |

I think I paid more than that for my Webley 10+ years ago.

I just picked up a 1943 Lithgow No. 1 Mk 3 with a sportorized stock for $135. Only the stock was modified. Park looks to be at roughly 90%. No import marks. The guy even threw in three additional buttstocks that he had.
The deals are out there, you just have to be patient. |

I can remember when I bought my first Enfield for (if I remember correctly) $80. Now there is a Enfield No5 at the local shop for $450. |
