| You posted this a few days ago. You have a low wall receiver.....had it then, have it now. Nothing odd about it as some were higher cut than yours. Yours is cut lower than other Mosins.............why keep asking the same question? If you want a hi wall receiver they usually come as a complete rifle for under $125. |

scott is right. You have a "low wall" reciever. Snipers have a "high wall" reciever for scope mounting.
