I picked up an Eddystone a couple days ago, the barrel, reciever and sights are unaltered, basically it was dropped in a sporter stock.  I would like to put it back to origional.  Can someone suggest where to find a stock, handguards and the misc hardware for the stock?  I have done all kinds of google searches and found a few places that are sold out, but thats about it.

Thanks
Bob

I saw two stocks, a butt plate and some of the bands on ebay just last night.

I got a really nice stock for mine from Sarco just a few weeks ago.

The stock on ebay may be cheaper (if the bids don't go to high).

I paid about $150 for my stock and handguards from Sarco, but they are in really nice shape.

I got all my metal parts from Numrich.

Like you I found a barreled receiver at a gunshow and bought it.

Sounds good, I will give them a call..  I am watching the one on ebay, well see what happens with that.   If I don;t spend too much at Dixon's tomorow I will probably try and get it.   Which set did you get from SARCO?  They have a couple different ones listed with and without handguards.

Thanks for reminding me of Numrich,  I completely went braind dead on that one.

I got the stock set (original in excellent condition) with new handguards.  I had to do a lot of sanding on the front hand guard to get it to fit under the bayonet lug/front band.  It or the stock was too thick and the band wouldn't fit over both.  I made sure it did not touch the barrel either.
