Any problems with these (No. 4 pattern)?  Are they substandard in any way?

Found a nice looking one and just wanted experienced opinions.

NOT a Khyber Pass copy.

Never heard of them.  Possibly Indian-made?

They're pretty nice- one was my first Enfield years ago. Went deer hunting many times, and put several thousand rounds through her at the range.

Check the new revised version of the Lee Enfield Story...  Pakistan did indeed build #4 MkII rifles between 1957 and 1960.  Skip Strattons #4 Enfield book book also notes them.  I have seen three of them in person, including the one I own, and I believe Empire Arms has one for sale right now.

I apologize for my ignorance.  I suspect it is fine.  It would be a good addition to any collection.

They used the same tooling setup as India after the independent creation of Pakistan.
