Thinking very heavily about getting something smaller to carry concealed like a CZ-82 (I have lost close to 50lbs and don't hide my 1911 particularly well anymore).  The price and size appeal to me, and the fact that it can come to my door is also somewhat of a deciding factor.

What do you guys think about them?  Reliable enough for CCW duty?  How is the accuracy?  Cheap ammo/mags?

Very accurate, mags are same as cz83 and so available new if you look around. My wife had 1 FTF in my newer '84 CZ82 with Hornady's hollow points. My uglier one has not had a hiccup yet. My point is practice plenty before you CCW with one, I don't know how others have fared but I would be surprised if there were many/any complaints.

I like mine but it did seem to give me a bit of a bite in the web of the hand (like my Sistema)....

No misfires though.  Great size for CCW.

I might have had one FTF in mine.  I need to get it out and shoot again.  I like my makarovs but I like the idea of the CZs higher mag capacity.

The CZ82 is also easier on the hand than the Mak.  The wider grip really takes the bite out of the recoil

Awesome pistol for the money.  As stated above, they can be picky with HP ammo.  I reload XTP's in mine and I have to seat them deeper than normal to feed correctly.  For a Combloc pistol it is solid, with good sights, and can be carried locked and cocked safely.

I've also seen Meprolight night sights for the CZ82 for sale, so the stock sights can get even better if you want.
