Correct. But...say it's on a form 4 in another state. Typically that's one tax from selled to instate dealer, and another tax from ealer to you. With the C&R, i'm pretty sure it's one tax, from seller directly to you. |
Yep, the Form 4 goes from the current owner to you, no dealer required. And then you can have it shipped right to your door, which is the really cool part. If getting "regular" C&R's shipped to your door makes Sarah Brady cry, I imagine having a machine gun legally shipped to your door makes her shit a gold medallion. |

In order to take advantage of the "not having to get a permision slip from the MAN to travel" clause, yes, you do need to have a 3ffl...And a copy of it with you. You do need to have a 3ffl to have a CnR mg transfered directly to you as well. Some states, like MN, will only let a civy own a CnR MGhttp://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99/Notch_2003/reis_full.jpg ANother great CnR MG... http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99/Notch_2003/AR18_folded.jpg Armalite Costa Mesa AR18 |
Makes me want to move from WA. Can't own MGs. |
Beware ANY Reising. Wanna know why they didn't make a mark in history? Jam-o-matiic. |
Nonsense... The Reising did in fact have trouble in the pacific. The tolerances in these subguns are very close, so they did not handle the grime of island life well at all. I also didnt buy any of my MGs for "the mark they made in historyht..... But it sounds like you have some experiance with these subguns compared to others, so I am interested in your input. |
