CMP if they have any left.  www.odcmp.com

Otherwise hit the shows.  I know of no wholesalers with 03's on hand.

CMP is out of them now. Your local online classifieds are a good source. They come up from time to time for good prices. Sometimes you can pick up one with a sporterized stock but original metal and then find a replacement stock of the correct year and mfg. Gunbroker and other gund auction sites usually have several complete ones for sale in the $600 - $1100 range. Let us know what you find...

You might contact the guy who started this thread. He just scored a few at a great price and might be talked into selling one.

CMP update on 1903s:

announcement will go out over the New Years Weekend. We are done inspecting and now I'm getting the final counts of how many per manufacturer and whether high or low and type of stock, etc. We'll have all that data in the computer before the end of the year and then we'll decide on prices and be ready to take orders - and sell in the stores.

All I can tell you now is that 03s and A3s are through inspection and we will put them up for sale in Jan. - and that it will be a looooong time before we see more.

I was lucky to find one when I went to the South Store a few months ago:

I picked up a high SN Springfield (975XXX) and I shot it a couple of days ago; it shoots beautifully and I already have a new (old stock) "C" Stock on the way. I replaced the bolt sleeve for a newer one and the stamped lower handguard band with a milled one and right now, the rifle looks gorgeous.

My Garand (Left) and my 03 (right).

They will probably be sold out by the end of the week.

They have a total of 3200 between 03s and 03a3s.

I placed an order for 3, so that leaves 3197.  I seriously do=ubt I'm the only one who jumped on these.  Something tells me there won't be anything left in a week.
