At a gunshow I saw a guy with a Winchester 1895 in .303...I think it might have been a .30-03 or something tho.  Seems like a unconventional chambering for that gun.

ETA Googled it and Im pretty sure the guy was wrong about it now.

What about the other way, has anyone ever seen an enfield chambered in 30-30? They are both rimmed cartriges and have simmilar dimensions. Would a rebarrell be possible with less hassle than a swap to .308?

Many SVT's were converted in Canada to .303, a muchmore vailable cartridge.
