Has anyone dealt with Samco Global. Are they reputable?

Also, Im trying to decide between an "excellent condition" M24/47 or a "good to very good" K98.

Opinions please?

Ordered K31's from them. No compliants. If the k98 has original markings intact - get it. If they are peened out - dont get it. my $.02

They are reputable. If something goes wrong be prepared to hash it out with someone who speaks english as a second language though.

I have enough problems with AIM and they are wonderful to deal with.<G>

i picked up my persian mauser off them and was very satisfied with the buy, i wouldnt hesitate to buy off them. take a look at classic arms website they carry alot of samco's imported stuff and they have their 24/47's listed for $109

the k98 mauser is a yugo remarked german...markings gone

i just ordered one, hope it is in nice shape

What condition was your K31 in? I've been debating picking up one. What quality was it? And it looks like you got one with a walnut stock, how is that?

The K31 is excellent condition. The metal looks nearly new, the walnut stock has quite a few dings

Got a really nice K31 from them a while ago. Good customer service, the lady I spoke with was always friendly and helpful.

I'd buy from them again.

Only complaint I have about them is they told me earlier today that they won't accept a faxed C&R

That's going to delay my K-31 a few days

I ordered an "Excellant" grade.

That's correct. They told me the same thing. Not sure why, but I had to mail mine in as well.

That's correct. They told me the same thing. Not sure why, but I had to mail mine in as well.

Probably because BATFE's online "FFL EZ-check" doesn't work for C&R licenses, and it is highly advised that faxed FFL's be verified using the system.

Does it normally take them a week or two to actually charge you guys for what you buy?

I talked to them today about a K31 I ordered 2 weeks ago. They said it invoiced 2 days ago, and will be shipped next week.

The aren't much for speed, thats for sure!

Time fo an update....
It took them about 4.5 weeks to get the K31 to me. It finally showed up yesterday. I had ordered an excellent condition walnut stock. I received a good condition gun with a beech stock. I've spoke with 3 people, and keep getting jerked around.
I would definitely not recommend them........slow shipping.....wrong order....bad service...

The only thing worse would be if they didn't ship at all!

still haven't gotten here.

next time i think i'll stick with a company whose phone people speak english as their first language. i think the woman i spoke to might have just taken off her water wings from her trip up to the u.s. from cuba.

Hmmmmm............I was about to order another K-31 and I was thinking about ordering from them. I have 2 that I ordered from AIM that look pretty decent, maybe I'll just stick with them. Anybody know who else has good K-31's right now?

I ordered a K31 online over 3 weeks ago and still haven't heard anything. I emailed for a confirmation and did not get a reply. When I called to ask about it the person on the phone was not able to find out about online orders so I am not sure if I have one coming or not. I am not in any hurry but if I was it would be a bit frustrating at this point. Too bad AIM is out currently, I had good luck with them in the past.

Well, I ordered my k-31 from them 3 weeks ago today. I'm not as patient as you are Patrick, I cancelled my order YESTERDAY and ordered one from J&G that should be shipped today. They jerked me around enough that I've temporarily "frozen" the credit card I used to order from them to make sure they don't try and jerk me around some more
