Got my first M44 in today from J&G. Looks great. I'll get it cleaned up next weekend, but it looks to be in excellent condition. All I have is 174gr ammo so Im thinking a couple extra layers of hearing protection and recoil pad? This ammo had a thump out of my 91/30 off the bench, so it should wake up the neighborhood out of this little rifle.
