I recently bought a savage mark II fv-sr with tacticool stock. I need a scope. Does anyone have any experience with the following scopes or recommend something different? Thanks

I have a Leupold 1.5x4 AR scope on my 10/22 with the lowest scope rings I could find.

Unless you intend to use it for bench rest style shooting most of the time you don't want or need that much magnification. 90% of the time in the field I'm shooting offhand, high magnification sucks in offhand. The crosshairs will jump around like crazy when hunting making it much harder to squeeze off a decent shot.
