I've found some "lightweight" MP5's online and I've read that lightweight means that the receiver is made out of polymer instead of metal.

Does anyone have any experience with either rimfire rifles?  I don't want a cheaply made MP5 so if I have to get the metal version, I will.

Here's what I'm looking at so far:

MP5 SD #1

MP5 SD #2

MP5 A5

I'm also not sure why there is a huge price difference between the first two, since they are essentially the same rifle.

Here's another from CDNN. Never shot either of them but I hear that They are not that fun to clean.

American Tactical Imports (ATI) is/was the importer of the Umarex GSG-5 and GSG-522 rifles.  They recently posted here that they would no longer be importing those rifles.  Your first and 3rd links are the Umarex version.

Your 2nd and 4th links are to the H&K authorized version, manufactured by Walther.  Having held both, the H&K version is a bit heavier.

After debating between the GSG and the Umarex I went with the Umarex. With the CDNN sale there was about a $40.00 difference between the two.
I've only ran 100 rounds through it so far, with no problems.
Disassembly is simple, push out 2 pins (like an AR) to remove the stock and trigger group. Unscrew the suppressor and the barrel/bolt assy slide out.
It is getting real hard to find the solid stock. The sites I looked at say they are discontinued. So if you go with the HK and want the stock you may want to order one soon. This site has a couple left.

A little late, but I have a GSG-522. I have had a few problems after having put several bricks through it. Mainly the light strike issue, which I hope to have remedied by modifying the bolt per removing the "button" on it like others have done. I haven't had a chance to shoot it since.
