I just ordered one. Supposedly only 500 were made of the 22lr, and 22mag.
Anyone have one? Is the performance any better than the standard RAR? Here's the link since I already ordered mine.

Does it seem unlikely that there were really only 500 made of each. I would think they would have been long sold out before now...but maybe not. For each vendor, possibly. This is a distributor exclusive, very doubtful there is no 500 "for each vendor", as that would be a very high number. For what it's worth, I called Ruger yesterday in an attempt to find out more info on the .22 mag Predator. The woman I spoke to said 1000 were made. She also that since the 8335 stock no doesn't appear on the website, it was unlikely any more would be made, but that could change. She also said if anymore were made, they would likely be "different" in some way. I do have a .22LR Predator, a .308 Predator, and a .22 mag Predator that will be here in a week or so. |

Vendors say what ever they want to move a product. Change the color and scope. it's EXCLUSIVE. I've been down the EXCLUSIVE, LIMITED RUN path before. Buy a basic unit, do what you desire to make it your own. YMMV |
