I was hoping you all would be able to help me identify what year this rifle was built. My Grandpa gave me his Fathers .22 today and I really want to know how old it is. Here is what I know. Its a Western Field .22. It has an Octagon barrel and on the barrel it says 22 short long or long rifle. The serial number is located on the receiver under the barrel and it is 119506 K Other than that I only have these pictures which aren't the best. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r91/bradyhook/IMG_3769_zpsfd4359ca.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r91/bradyhook/IMG_3771_zps44f54ed6.jpg Looks like a model 81 pump http://www.gunauction.com/search/displayitem.cfm?itemnum=8901501 |
