I have one I bought for 50 bucks about two years ago ,it had the first two inches of the forarm chewed off buy only God knows what. So I cut that off and it's a
great 27 inch straight shooter(it has the non groved wood) and I thought if I ever see another I will get it. So I'm out of buying and into selling right now,so I stop into the Harrah pawn shop to just look around for another HR 22 pistol ,and you guessed it he had two model 67's . I bought the groved front wood one for 125 bucks. He said why not get both ,he wants 150 for the newer 67-a ,I told him I will see what I can do. I do have three Grandsons so I can see it a possability. I just love the way they point and shoot, and haveing to load a round and then pull back the bolt to shoot slows down the shooting time for young folks to get behind the thoughts behind control and aiming. And with 22 ammo being what it is now slow and accurate is the key to what I would like to pass on to my GK'S. Anybody else love those old win 67's? Bob |
| I have my Grandfather's and could not count the rounds that I put through it growing up. I have great memories of cleaning it with him. We had a stiff piece wire with a small rag and Hoppes. My job was grab the wire and pull it through. I can remember him sitting in the kitchen with the screen door open and waiting for a rat in the shed that had gotten into the dog food. He would leave the light on in the shed and when that poor ole rat came out ! A friend at work gave me a Remington that is very similiar, just no safety. When her husband passed she said no else in the family wanted it. |
