It has the 22short conversion bolt, so I need to find that magazine or swap in a normal bolt/spring.

Finding the 22 short mag would probably be easier than finding 22 LR ammo these days. .22 Short ammo seems pretty easy to find though.

You may be able to run Remington CeeBee's or CCI Quiets through it with a standard mag.
