| What makes some better then factory? it just seem like a block, im will say its the only thing original on my ruger. |
| The factory blocks are not what you would call precision made, they have a very loose tolerance on fit and angles and some tend to promote barrel droop by pulling down on the barrel when tightened. The aftermarket ones are designed to pull the barrel in square and level to help eliminate barrel droop. But since the cast reciever is not a precision machined piece either they dont always help with every rifle! |
