Just picked up a Savage FV-SR today from our local range, nice little rifle. Also bought a AAC Pilot 2 silencer while I was there, have just a few plans so far with this .22 going to put the boyds tacticool stock, bi-pod, and a nice 3-9 scope on it and go have fun with it. Now the long wait for my form 4 to come back so I can bring my can home

| been wanting a mark II savage myself lately but they are hard to find in california. found a markII F localy and bought it. nobody has the fv-sr or tr anywhere that my local shop could get. so now, i have my boyds stock/trigger guard and bottom metal coming and egw top rail coming as well. going to cut and recrown the barrel to 16.5 and paint her up. all this because i had a leupold scope that needed a home. will have the rifle set up just like i wanted for a bit less than buying the tricked out model that i couldn't get anyway. will post picks when all the stuff gets here next monday. |
