My father in law has a sears model 282.527740 made by cbc. My question is can I use remington model 511/512 magazines in it. I found this page with part numbers with a different letter Part # any have more info on this.

it's common for the old department store guns to simply be rebranded versions of a Mossberg, Marlin, Savage or whoever was giving them a good deal at the time. fortunately this means that parts form the more common model also work.
so either that's the case here, or the gun was designed to take an existing mag. i haven't seen one of the CBC rifles in person, but Numrich's info is probably correct, tho it's always possible there could be an error. |
