I just picked up this Rossi G22 on impulse for my dad for Xmas. It's in excellent shape. I know it's a copy of the Winchester 62 Gallery Gun. I paid $205. Is that a reasonable deal?
I know no compaines are currently manufacturing these, Taurus did for a while.
Anyone here have one? Any thoughts, reliable, work well etc? Any info would be great.
Not looking for match accuracy, just going to use it for silhouette shooting.

I had one back in the mid eightys,it shot allright.
I dumped it pretty quick though since it was virtually impossible to put a scope on.
Henry makes a nice little gallery gun.

You did ok. It was neither a steal nor did you get ripped off, IMO.
I'd keep plenty of oil on the slide/moving parts to keep wear to a minimum, IMO.

My father got me one of those about 16 years ago. No telling how many rounds are though it probably close to 5,000 rounds. Still runs and shoots good.
