[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Extended scope mount rail?

I need more eye relief for my scope than my current scope mount rail (Powers) affords. Who sells extended/cantilevered mounts that still just attach to the receiver?

I bought my EGW from Brownells. Hopefully it'll be here tomorrow

I think Volquartsen makes one that attaches to the barrel and cantilevers rearward.

Check out BKL http://www.bkltech.com/category_s/57.htm Their 253,254, 274, and 278 come in standard and tall versions. The other thing nice about them is they give real dimensions rather than low, standard and tall. Good products at a reasonable price. I have several of their mounts.

I have a Volquartsen one. It does not extend as far forward as the EGW so I would recommend getting the EGW. The VQ rail is also more expensive (around $50).
