Does anybody make a Picatinny rail scope mount that is low enough or groved to allow the use of the iron sights?

I have the new Redfield 2-7 and I'm guessing I'll need medium rings.  The objective is 33mm, but the largest part of the bell is right where the rear fold down sight is.  Anybody know if I can use low rings?

Low should work with that objective but I have not tried a Redfield myself.  May be safer to go with medium rings since it won't be much taller in the long run.

Go to Mizzou Mule, service is excellent, and get a TacSol mount for the 10/22.

Do you know if the irons are usable with that base and no scope?
