Ok, I'm teasing a little. I have a WASR-22 I bought simply because I thought it would be a limited production type item. I haven't tweaked it yet, but it runs about 90% with one factory magazine and 70% with the other for about 100 rounds or so. It seems the cases don't always eject and bind the action. I was drawn to it becuase it was only $250 and could take AK accessories. Now I shoot my 10/22 a lot more, especially with suppressor/butler creek mag loader with tactical inc mags, but the WASR-22 is a real head turner every time it comes out to play. It handles just like an AK but weighs a good bit less due to the simplified, lightweight bolt design. While I'm thinking about it, I need to quit being cheap and get some black dog mags as well... |
