| I have an offer to trade my Rem Viper 522 (semi-auto) for a Winchester 67-22 (bolt-action). If I trade I'm wanting to make a nice target rifle. Bipod, scope, maybe a refinish, and possibly a re-barrel. Can anyone give me some information regarding the 67-22 please? I really dont have any information on the rifle at the time. |
| thats pretty much what I've gathered from on the winny. I dont like its single shot, no magazine. I dont mind a bolt action, and kinda want one as I dont have one already, but I want a magazine of sort, tube feed, removable mag, etc. I also dont like the fact that the winny needs to be cocked on the bolt every shot. |
i love my mod. 67 it's the second gun i ever owned and i got it from my uncle, no serial # so it must be old. iknow i've put 1,500 through it atleast, one at a time-i've had it for just at 20yrs. it's long and heavy, solid as they come. i have let umpteen new shooters cut their teeth on it.keep your current rifle and offer $100 cash for the 67, your great-grandkids will love it !!
