I bought my 9yr old son a Chipmunk 22 for Xmas. He will be stoked! Anyway, I was thinking of adding a scope to it after he learns the irons. Does anybody have one of these rifles and what brand scope and mount did you get?
I am not familiar with these types of mounts, if it doesnt have a rail I am lost! |

For less then $70 you can get a Simmons 22mag scope and rings to fit the dovetail.

Yep. I still have mine from when my Uncle gave it to me when I was younger. I put a BSA 4x scope on it and it was dead nuts accurate. The accuracy increased after I free floated the barrel. From 50 ft using CCI mini-mags  I used Leopold high rings once I got older since I grew and needed the scope higher so my head would fit the little rifle. Eventually bought a 10/22 about half a year ago. |
