I was cleaning my Marlin Model 60 that I had purchased off of someone. While cleaning it I removed the Fire Control Group and it was missing some Eclips that I didn't know about. Well the FCG went flying apart. I finally got everything back to where I think it is suppose to go and now I am having problems. When firing it fires loads a round but doesn't cock to fire that round. During dry firing I can not get it to malfunction. It worked prior to my cleaning the gun. Any help thoughts would be of great help.

A member of another forum put together the Power Point How-To for the M60. Check it out as it should help then let us know how it turns out. It has helped me a couple of times.

You are talking about the Jesus clips right. I thing Brownells has them or Numrich.  I always take mine a part on a white towel and cover the part while popping them loose with another white towel. The previous owner found out why I call them Jesus clips.

I think I read somewhere that they are a standard size and can be found at most hardware stores. Someone else might know for sure?
