I'm looking at a Choate stock and wondering, is there any reason I couldn't modify it to work with a .920 barrel? Obviously the top cover would not work but I don't see why it would take anything more than opening the barrel channel. I am thinking one of the carbon fiber barrels would be nice...

Can be done! I have one I use with a short bull barrel and a suppressor.
