How difficult is it to trick one of these out? I have seen a lot of cool ass ones here. I would like one. Where can I find a cheap one to start on? Is there any difference other than the cool factor than a regular 22 rifle? Where can I find inexpensive parts and accessories?

http://www.rimfirecentral.com/ There are more parts for a 10/22 than a chevy. |

You buy one of these for $140 http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo31/uplinkster/Picture233-1.jpg You turn it into this for about $350 more the top one with the thumb hole stock. http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo31/uplinkster/Picture010.jpg Vols hammer and sear, Vols edge extractor, home polished bolt, (see rimfirecentral above) stock from the EE, barrel from EE. Shoots under 1/2 inch at 50 yards without having a great operator behind it. CAREFUL 10/22's are worse than AR's in becoming a habit! Or you can pump a lot more $$$$ into one and come out with something like one of these. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h198/HVBowman/The2Rugers.jpg |
