| My Dad has a Marlin Model 60 he's had forever that he loves to shoot. The problem is that he wears bifocals now and he has a hard time using the factory irons. I want to get a red dot for him for Christmas and have it installed on the 60. The problem is that it's not tapped for a Weaver rail. How much trouble is it to have one tapped to accept the rail? |

No need to drill holes, all you need is an adaptor. These two jump to mind, but there are plenty of others.
B-Square Another... Marlin 60s is notorious for scope creep. Adding a little red Loctite to the rail where the adaptor makes contact should keep it from shifting. |

Never seen one, but I ordered it to try my genuine Aimpoint on my rusty 60.
