Just installed tech sight on my new 10/22.

I haven't dug into the problem deeply (yet) but, after installing the rear sight, I can't pull the bolt back. My initial thougts are that the screws that attach the sight might be too long and the bolt is hitting the front screw.

Anyone have any thoughts or similar problem.

If I am doing something NOOB, don't hesitate to mention.

Thanks,

Falafull

Loosen the screw, and see if the bolt can slide back.  You might need to file a tiny bit off the bottom of the screw so that it doesn't contact the bolt when fully screwed in.

I had the same problem with a scope mount I installed, it turned out to be the screw was too long like you suggested. It was a simple fix of filing the screw in question shorter for the bolt to clear.
