I just picked up a brand new 20" (or is it 20.5"?) Stainless Steel barrel for 20 bucks. I have a 10/22 RB and am curious what the benefits would be of installing the longer SS barrel on it.

Other than having a longer sight radius there is probably no accuracy advantage over the barrel that is on there now. One advantage is the corrosion resistance that SS offers.
