Where should I look for a mid-priced target scope.  I see a Leupold VX-II 3-9x33 EFR Rimfire Riflescope for about $330 on optics planet.

Price feels about right.  Around that level or lower what else should I be looking at?  Thanks for the suggestions.

Go here, Japanese glass, German coatings, free shipping, free sunshade, best value in a scope, i have several, and you can't beat them for the price....

The Mueller APV is hard to beat for a rimfire. I have a couple. I also have a couple Nikko Striling scopes that are very nice and adjust down to 10yrds.

My 10/22 converted to 17HM2 with a Nikko 8-32x44

ETA:
I have a VX-III 6.5-20EFR on my Cooper just incase someone thinks I went cheap.

I agree with the above, I also favor the Tasco Varmint Series; I have several of them, and are tough, clear, and have never lost zero, even when I had one of them mounted on a 308 ultralite.  They are just over 100 bucks.  Also burris, with a ballistic-plex reticle, is very nice, and Bushnell Banner Dusk/Dawn series is very nice , especially with an illuminated reticle.

As much as I like Leupold, a Mueller APV is very hard to beat for the money.

I'd have to agree with the mueller lovers too.

I put one on my custom 10/22T and it is a tack driver

For a target scope I went with a Weaver T-36 for my CZ 453 Varmint.  It is a great value at around $400.

that bushnell is a clear scope, but the problem I have with bushy's, is that they are somehow , bigger, bulkier , and heavier, than everyone elses scopes.  Until you get up to their dusk/dawn series, or Elites.
