On the AR15 side of the house I have seen several threads about storing mags in various size ammo boxes or Pelican cases or what have you. The threads I've seen all have a certain size box / case that will fit a certain number of mags almost perfectly. I am curious if anybody has done something similar with 25rd 10/22 mags? I have a bunch of BC Hot Lips mags that I would like to find a better place to store than just sitting on the shelf in my safe. I have tried stacking them in different size ammo cans, but so far have not come up with a way that didn't leave a ton of extra space that a mag won't fit in, but is just a bunch of wasted space.

Also, what type of pouch do you use for carrying extra 25rd 10/22 mags in the field? I was wondering if a MP5 curved mag pouch would work.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Pics would be great too.
Thanks in advance.

I just stick spare mags in my pocket.

Back pocket, but a purpose-designed pouch would be cool.

couple ram-line 30s fit in my back jeans pocket just fine but they also fit in ar-15 mag pouches.  I use the larger ammo boxes to store my mags in plastic bags, there will always be some wasted space

I've been thinkin' about that...  If I have some free time I might come up with something.
