| I don't think that the Akins people would do it. The fact that they use only their own proprietary stocks is why they are able to charge $1100. If you look at the prices for stocks without the LMA they are still $625. It looks as though they are recouping their investment for tooling up to make the stocks. Maybe they will branch out once they have gotten back into the black. |
oh my that is soo cool I think the AA stock is but ugly...wow the one you made is what I have been looking for!! |
Just to let you guys know, I will no longer be pursuing building this stock in a version able to accommodate an Akins device due to a possible patent conflict with the Akins Group Inc. |
I think you should contact someone about making a production version of your stock. It looks badass. I'm sure you would sell tons of them. |
ha ha yea so true...that AA stock is not so hot ...and for that price ![]() this one looks so so tactically cool |
Yea but then that's $300, plus the cost of the Akins. ...But seriously, you should talk to someone about doing a production run on yours. It's pretty damn nice looking, how was it made? The only thing I don't like about the looks are the way the stock kind of squares off at the front and you've got the plain barrel sticking out...but that's not big deal. Got any videos of it in action? |

i wouldnt worry about a patent problem unless you are planning on selling these stocks for the fast fire thingamagig.. but then again why wouldnt they want these available? hell it would promote their product even more. if they stated to you that you cant make them because it screws them in the patent area please let us know and i will spend my money elsewhere or i will just make my own for less then $200 and tell them to F*%K off |
