The gas marks from the burned powder look even all the way around the muzzle to me. I worried about cleaning from the muzzle on the 10/22's and found that these cleaning devices like the PatchWorm and the Bore Snake really work good on 10/22's. They clean from the chamber end and I find that it's kinda easier to use. This muzzle doesn't look as nice as yours but you can see the mark left by the powder as the bullet leaves the muzzle is even -- it's a 10/22 with the barrel relined to .17Mach2.
