I would like to have a 22LR pistol based on a Ruger 10/22 action.
Does anyone make a 10/22 type action that can be bought as a pistol?
I would like a 6 inch barrel and a pistol grip with a single point sling attached top rear of pistol grip.
After reading FAQs in the AR-15 pistol thread I understand that I cannot convert a rifle to a pistol. I need to buy a receiver that has never been a rifle.
Does anyone make one?

you would have to get a stripped reciever or a pistol reciever.
