Does anyone have any experience with these?  The PPSh copy in .22 cal.

With the drum mag, they look damn fun.  Just wondering how they function?

I'm thinking about picking one up.

So you had no problems with your old one?

Where is a good place to find them these days?

Damn.  The reason I became interested in them is that a friend of mine picked up a NIB one at a show here this weekend for $375 and that included a 50rd drum.  I had never seen one before, but I understand now why he was so happy...

Well, I saw him pay cash for it, and we will be out shooting it later this week, so I will let you know.

Yes, he was.  He was aware of its actual value.  I had no clue.

I got lucky early last year and bought a used PPS-50 off Sturm for $750 I think it was...included two drums, three 30 round stick mags, two 10 round stick mags, extra complete fcg/housing and 10 of the metal drum loaders.  The wood on the rifle needs to be refinished and I can't get it to shoot reliably but it's a keeper and will work the bugs out of it when I get the time.  Bought another two of the drums last fall for $500 and was surprised when I seen that they were the silver drums instead of black!?  Two of the drums will remain for the PPS and the other two will be converted for another .22lr firearm I hope to be getting.

Right, I gotcha.

My buddy knew its value, and was very pleased with the price.  I had never seen one up to that point.  Now I want one...
