Who sells 10/22 receivers? My brother-in-law is looking for one. He has a bunch of parts and wants to build his own rifle. |
|
I found this website while searching for a 10/22 receiver. The site itself is not the best, but it has good prices on what I assume are NIB receivers. I emailed the company to try and get some more information on the business to make sure it is reputable. Has anyone heard of this company? I'd like to know I am ordering from a place that has a good history and am not going to get ripped off. Heddonpal.com Nick |
That web address doesn't work. Spelling error? You can get a black 10/22 from Wal-Mart around $165, maybe less at a gun show. Should be able to sell whatever you don't need - $25 for barrel and stock probably. |
|
Hey man, if you do end up buying a 10/22 for the reciever then maybe we could make a deal - I need the complete bolt assembly, complete trigger assembly and the drift pins. If you can sell the barrel and stock for $40 bucks we would both come out ahead. PM me if you are interested, Rick |
I agree with this, I jus picked up a MINT Plain Jane 10/22 for 120bux. Anywho......here is the link to jus the receiver. www.heddonpal.com/item.asp?n=ru22%2d010&d=8&b=1 |
It is. Got everything ready but the receiver. attempted an 80% Tannery, but wasn't having much luck. Already got the 5.5 inch threaded barrel. Got the pistol grip furniture. Got the bolt and FCG parts. Jsut need a darn receiver ot put it on. |
I have several bolts and trigger groups (2 black, 1 silver) if you are interested. |
Here is the proper link: http://www.tanneryshop.com/ They also sell AR-15, AK, 1911 and other 60% and 80% receivers, all which can be completed and made in to working firearms legal without cereal nombers, as long as the gun model and parts are legal in your area. They have had the AMT auto mag 60%s up their for $60 for the longest time, so I am going to see if I can't swing a deal with them on some. Not that I really need a bunch of auto-mags, but they can be used as platforms for other handguns I want to make. |
Wow! You got lucky. I've been looking for a 22 on and off since I gave away my Marlin Model 60 three years ago. I haven't seen one used for less than $200. At some of the pawn shops around here, they're even more expensive than that. They're $175 new at Wal-Mart, so I really don't want to pay $25-$50 more just to not buy at Wal-Mart. If I found one for $80, I'd jump on that.z |
its supposed to be www.tanneryshop.com |
Sorry to go a little off topic here, but what is required to finish an 80% 10/22? Ive been unable to find any documentation on them at all.. |
