Who sells 10/22 receivers?  My brother-in-law is looking for one.  He has a bunch of parts and wants to build his own rifle.

Got mine at Gunbrocker.com.  I think I paid about 90$.  This was with no bolt or trigger group.

You can get 80% receivers from www.tannaryshop.com

The good thing about them is they can legally be finished yet, when the government comes to take your guns, they won't know about it.

I found this website while searching for a 10/22 receiver.  The site itself is not the best, but it has good prices on what I assume are NIB receivers.  I emailed the company to try and get some more information on the business to make sure it is reputable.  Has anyone heard of this company?  I'd like to know I am ordering from a place that has a good history and am not going to get ripped off.

That web address doesn't work.  Spelling error?

You can get a black 10/22 from Wal-Mart around $165, maybe less at a gun show.  Should be able to sell whatever you don't need - $25 for  barrel and stock probably.

Go to a pawn shop or walmart, etc.... buy a complete 10/22 and strip off the parts you don't want and replace them. The stock and barrel should sell for about $40 or so.

Hey man, if you do end up buying a 10/22 for the reciever then maybe we could make a deal - I need the complete bolt assembly, complete trigger assembly and the drift pins. If you can sell the barrel and stock for $40 bucks we would both come out ahead.

PM me if you are interested,
Rick

MAke sure you have the proper tools for an 80%. I started one and it was a bitch. Not nearly as easy as an AR.

With that in mind, tag for more info. Thinking about a 10/22 pistol. Naturally a rifle receiver is a no go.

Here is the proper link:

They also sell AR-15, AK, 1911 and other 60% and 80% receivers, all which can be completed and made in to working firearms legal without cereal nombers, as long as the gun model and parts are legal in your area.

They have had the AMT auto mag 60%s up their for $60 for the longest time, so I am going to see if I can't swing a deal with them on some.
Not that I really need a bunch of auto-mags, but they can be used as platforms for other handguns I want to make.

Wow!  You got lucky.  I've been looking for a 22 on and off since I gave away my Marlin Model 60 three years ago.  I haven't seen one used for less than $200.  At some of the pawn shops around here, they're even more expensive than that.  They're $175 new at Wal-Mart, so I really don't want to pay $25-$50 more just to not buy at Wal-Mart.  If I found one for $80, I'd jump on that.z

Sorry to go a little off topic here, but what is required to finish an 80% 10/22?

Ive been unable to find any documentation on them at all..

I deal personally with the individual and he has excellent prices. This is where I buy all of my receivers.  The only donw fall is that the receiver is just the receiver you have to buy all of the pins and v-block assemblies seperate.
